It cannot invent detail that was never captured — if a face or license plate is genuinely just a few pixels of blur, no enhancer can pull real information out of it. For most soft-but-present footage, the improvement is clear.
Good noise reduction should not. Our model is trained to tell real structure apart from random noise, so it removes grain and high-ISO static while preserving edges, textures, and fine detail. If a clip is extremely noisy we recommend a lighter pass first — over-denoising can make footage look plastic, so it is better to keep a little grain than to smear away detail.
